but…look a little closer, and we were told that this shrine was built to protect the trading business of Tsukiji Market. Here you can pray and give money to upkeep the shrine that guards this special part of Tokyo.

A big thanks to Mr. G who gave us our Tsukiji market tour and showed us this impressive shrine. I think that this is testament to Japan being the most ‘Foodie’ country in the world!
